Jordanian King Abdullah II confirmed during discussions with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the capital, Astana, that Jordan will not relent in the fight against terrorism and extremism, and will not allow any party to threaten the security of the Kingdom or harm its citizens. The King stressed that Israel cannot be allowed to continue its attacks in Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank, or its attempts to violate the sovereignty of Arab countries. He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to end the escalation in the region, stressing that Jordan will continue to work with its partners, including Kazakhstan, to achieve this.
