NewsLeb is an independent Lebanese news site launched in March 2026 in Beirut. It is run by an independent editor-in-chief based in Lebanon and is not affiliated with, or funded by, any party or political group.

What we cover

Lebanon's news as it happens: security and field developments in the South, Nabatieh, Tyre, Bint Jbeil, the Bekaa and Dahieh; politics, the government and parliament; the economy, fuel prices and cost of living; and the regional and international events that matter to Lebanese readers.

How we work

We verify information with reliable sources before publishing and name the source at the end of each story ("Source"). We distinguish breaking alerts — one line, published as soon as the information is confirmed — from articles that tell the full story, and we update live coverage as new information arrives.

The English edition is machine-translated from our Arabic reporting, with automated checks on names and figures before publication. The Arabic text is the reference if the two ever differ.
