Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said today, in a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the storming of the American embassy following the victory of the revolution, that there is no room for concessions before Washington, and that any new aggression will be met with a broader response, according to what was reported by “Russia Today.” He added: “Anyone who has hopes, even if they are small, for a change in the behavior of the United States or a change in its ruling political parties and trends, or who believes that making concessions to Washington can distract it from its hostility to the Iranian people, is making a grave mistake.” He said: “There is no room for concessions before the United States, and the path to deterrence lies in strengthening Iran’s power and national unity.” Khamenei stressed that “Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz and its targeting of American military bases in the region constituted a response to the aggression, and any new attacks will be met with a broader response.”
