The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makiya, stated, “Because the Minister of Energy and Water was forced to travel to Qatar (Doha) to continue discussions with the Qatari side regarding the offer submitted by it to develop and modernize the electricity sector in Lebanon, the session that was scheduled to be held at three o’clock in the afternoon tomorrow, Thursday, 11/05/2026, will be postponed until next week.”
