Since Monday morning, the Electricité du Liban has begun updating the subscription regulations for public administrations, institutions, and municipalities that have defaulted in paying their dues, and which have not even initiated contact with the corporation to settle their situation, and have given the necessary directions to implement the cut, according to a statement issued by its board of directors.
The Board of Directors thanks the media that positively accompanied this campaign and shed light on it, and hopes that they will be careful in publishing the names of the parties included in the cuts, and adhere exclusively to what is issued by the Board of Directors, in order to avoid causing confusion.
The Board of Directors indicated that it would issue a statement clarifying today’s events and the results of the measures taken.
