Prime Minister Nawaf Salam extended his deepest condolences to the families of the three martyrs: Engineer Hussein Ali Ramadan, who was martyred in the town of Faroun, the retired senior officer in the Lebanese Army, Ali Abdel Hassan Suwaidan, who was martyred in the town of Yater as a result of direct Israeli targeting, and the specialist in the Internal Security Forces, Edgar Gilo, who was martyred in the town of Ain Ebel following the explosion of an object left over from the Israeli aggression while he was working on agricultural land. He added: "Our people in the south have the right to live safely in their villages, inspect their lands, and reap the olive crop without fear for their lives. However, the ongoing Israeli attacks and the remnants of war continue to threaten their lives and deprive them of their most basic rights." He continued: "Protecting our people, ensuring their safe return to their villages and lands, and removing the remnants of war remain at the core of the priorities of our government's work. We continue our efforts to achieve complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory, and extend state authority over its entire territory, in a way that guarantees our people to live in safety and dignity in their land."
