The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, stressed during his reception of a delegation from the Educational Center for Research and Development, the National Curriculum for Pre-University General Education, that our battle to build the state also begins from school and educational awareness, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic. He pointed out that national education is not just education about the nation, but rather education to live together, respect the state, bear responsibility, and preserve national unity. He said: The Lebanon that we aspire to build needs citizens who know their rights and duties, trust their state, and believe that their future can only be preserved through their unity, their adherence to their homeland, and their involvement in social service. He continued: The new approaches must focus on the interest of the new generation, which must grow on national foundations, and be aware that there is no difference between the Lebanese, even if the right to difference is sacred, so the partnership must be solid, as well as identity, knowledge, and a single belonging to the homeland.
