The Minister of Telecommunications clarified what is being circulated regarding the suspension of the days-recharge ("toshrij") service by the "Alfa" and "Touch" companies. He wrote via his X account: The citizen is paying, but a part of this revenue is reaching neither the companies nor the treasury. Al-Hajj demanded an audit, affirming that there are discrepancies, and pointing to the existence of a network using a service originally established to facilitate citizens' lives in a manner for which it was not intended, which caused a revenue leak. He affirmed that no decision has been issued by the Ministry of Telecommunications until now and there is no specific date for any measure. He added that any future step will not affect the subscriber's service before securing an official alternative that maintains the ability to obtain the service at a suitable price, especially for limited-income earners. He affirmed that balances are secure, and transfers between subscribers have not been cancelled. He said: The requirement is simple: we stop the leak, not the citizen.
