Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned the Iranian leadership that any attack on Israel will be met with a strong response that will inflict unprecedented and severe damage on Iran. Katz pointed out that the Israeli army is on high alert and ready to carry out the mission. Katz added that such a strike would set Iran back decades and further destabilize the "ayatollah regime." He said: "Given the possibility that Iran might decide to act against Israel due to the state of economic suffocation and immense pressure it is facing, I warn the Iranian leadership once again: Any attack on Israel, for whatever reason and from any place, will be met with a strong response."
