Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad al-Hajjar, indicated that his tour through the streets of Jounieh comes within the framework of existing cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and municipalities, stressing that his visit aims primarily to strengthen communication with municipalities. Al-Hajjar expressed his hope that citizens will see the results of this cooperation, stressing that the Ministry of Interior has fully carried out its duties. He assured the people of Keserwan and Jbeil that “the state is by your side, regardless of administrative divisions,” pointing to the importance of the role of municipalities as local authorities in direct contact with citizens and responding to their needs, adding: If the people of Jounieh are satisfied, then I am satisfied.
