The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced the completion of asphalting works on two temporary crossings in Burj Rahal and Tir Falsih, under the guidance of Minister Fayez Rasamni, and follow-up by the Regional Directorate of Public Works in the South, as part of urgent interventions to address the damage to the road and bridge network in the South, and to secure movement on vital axes.
The Ministry explained that the works included paving the temporary crossing corridor on the international road at the Burj Rahal Bridge, by spreading and paving the asphalt layer, to improve traffic conditions on this axis, pending the completion of permanent treatment of the damaged infrastructure.
The Ministry called on drivers, especially those crossing Burj Rahal Bridge, to exercise the utmost caution, reduce speed, take into account the narrowness of the temporary lane, and adhere to traffic signals and safety instructions, in order to preserve safety.
