President of the Republic Joseph Aoun confirmed from the Rashid Karami exhibition that Lebanon paid heavy prices security-wise and economically during the difficult years, noting that experiences have proven that division does not protect anyone. Aoun called for prioritizing Lebanon's interest over narrow calculations and strengthening national unity, stressing that the constitution, law, and institutions constitute the ceiling that must be adhered to. He pointed out that Tripoli is an essential city in the country's history, present and future, stressing that it possesses the energies and competencies that qualify it to contribute to Lebanon's renaissance.
