The Press Office of the Ministry of Education denied circulating news about the presence of about four hundred children on the street as a result of the closure of Al-Farabi Official School and Dahr Al-Mughr Official Kindergarten. It confirmed in a statement that the students of these two schools were transferred last academic year to the Ibn Sina School building in the nearby area, following the inspection of dangerous buildings in Tripoli and Al-Qobbeh, and consequently, there is not a single child on the street. It pointed out that within the framework of the Ministry's plan aimed at securing a classroom seat for every learner in Lebanon, and providing safe school buildings for students away from any danger that could result from cracks, the Ministry proceeded to transfer the students from the Al-Farabi and Dahr Al-Mughr kindergarten schools in Tripoli to the nearby Ibn Sina School building, due to the imminent danger posed by the adjacent building to the two schools, which is classified as being on the verge of collapsing at any moment. The Press Office called on journalists and publishers of news websites of all kinds to obtain news from its official sources only. It also called on parents not to approach the cracked building out of concern for their safety and the safety of their children, especially since the Ministry is in the process of executing the judicial ruling, handing over the building to its owners, and transferring the equipment that remained inside it when it was evacuated in the last academic year.
