The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates condemned the targeting of an ADNOC oil tanker while crossing the Strait of Hormuz, considering the incident a direct threat to the security of international navigation. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that targeting navigation and using the strait as a pressure or blackmail tool constitutes an “act of piracy” by the Revolutionary Guard, stressing that freedom of navigation in waterways is a red line that cannot be touched. It also called on Iran to stop its attacks and reopen the Strait of Hormuz completely and unconditionally.
