Gold prices rose by more than 1% during early trading, today, Monday, supported by a decline in oil prices after the fighting in the Middle East stopped, which contributed to allaying concerns about inflation and continued raising of interest rates.
Gold in instant transactions recorded an increase of 1.3%, reaching $4,103.99 per ounce, by 00:58 GMT.
US gold futures for August delivery also rose 0.9% to $4,106.10.
