The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that its members were able to control the fire, stressing that this rapid intervention contributed to containing the fire and limiting its spread, while cooling operations are currently continuing to prevent the fire from re-igniting. The municipality of Jouret El Ballout announced that an unfortunate accident occurred this afternoon in the town, which led to the ignition of warehouses located in the home of Grace Naoum Abu Jaoude’s sons in Jouret El Ballout. Immediately, civil defense personnel arrived, accompanied by municipal police, and worked to extinguish the flames and controlled the fire that broke out in the building within a short time. No injuries were recorded according to preliminary information.
