The Army Command announced that a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the Karantina area - Beirut arrested a wanted man of Syrian nationality for the crime of drug trafficking. A large and varied quantity of drugs prepared for distribution were seized from his possession, in addition to a military pistol that he used in various criminal acts, including robbery and theft. The Intelligence Directorate handed over the seized items, and the investigation began with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
