The US Embassy in Jordan warned its citizens to "exercise caution" in the wake of "the terrorist attack that targeted a Greek Orthodox church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate." She indicated in a statement the tightening of security measures in shopping malls and foreign embassies in Amman and other locations. She concluded by saying, "The US Embassy in Jordan will continue to evaluate the situation and will provide additional information when needed."
