The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: On 21/9/2026, an armed clash broke out in the Qabb Elias area – Zahlé, resulting in injuries. Following this, army units carried out raids in the area and arrested three of the shooters, seizing a quantity of weapons and military ammunition. Follow-ups are underway to arrest the remaining suspects. The seized items were handed over and investigations with the detainees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
