The Economy Directorate in the South announced in a statement that it "followed up on citizens' complaints regarding generators, where pricing was verified in the following towns: Ain El Delb, Al-Salihiyeh, Haret Hreik, and Sarafand within the Sidon district, and the towns of Deir Qanoun El Nahr, Al-Shahabiya, Ain Baal, Batoulieh, Seddiqine, Al-Shoaitiyah, and Tyre in the Tyre district." It added, "Nine violation reports were issued against those violating the official tariff for the kilowatt. A copy of the reports was deposited with the police stations, each within its geographical jurisdiction, to follow up on legal procedures with the Public Prosecution in the South."
