Minister of Labour Dr. Mohammad Haidar received today a delegation from the town of Rchaf in the Bint Jbeil district, headed by municipal chief Mohammad Assili, where the delegation presented the tragic reality the town is experiencing as a result of complete displacement and widespread destruction left by the ongoing Israeli aggression.
The delegation pointed to the scale of the damage inflicted on the town, affirming that systematic Israeli shelling targeted stone and tree, and led to the displacement of all residents from their homes, amid extremely difficult humanitarian and living conditions.
The delegation demanded the necessity of intensifying work and contacts with the international community to exert pressure for halting the ongoing Israeli aggression on southern villages, and working to provide relief to the town of Rchaf and its people who have become displaced outside their town as a result of destruction and displacement.
Minister Haidar also received a delegation from the Graphic Design Syndicate, where the reality of the sector and the challenges facing workers in it were reviewed, in addition to discussing a number of issues and demands related to their professional conditions.
Haidar also received a delegation from the Syndicate of Employees in Public Schools in Lebanon, headed by Hassan Amhaz, and listened to the employees' demands and concerns, within the framework of following up on issues related to their rights and functional and living conditions.
