Gold continues its rise and records its highest level in more than two months

Gold rose today, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for the third session in a row, reaching the highest level in more than two months, at a time when investors are awaiting inflation data to search for indicators about the path of US interest rates.
The price of gold in spot transactions rose one percent to $4,432.74 per ounce by 02:17 GMT, recording the highest level since June 5. US gold futures increased 1.7 percent to $4,492.60.
