Representative Hassan Fadlallah confirmed that “there is no withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from any meter it occupied in southern Lebanon,” considering that what happened falls within the framework of “strengthening the deployment of the Lebanese army in liberated villages and towns that the enemy was unable to occupy due to the sacrifices of the martyrs.” Fadlallah pointed out that the Lebanese army “can deploy among its people and no one prevents it from doing so,” pointing out that the Israeli enemy opened fire when the army tried to move outside the liberated borders in Zawtar al-Gharbiya, even though the movement was inside Lebanese territory. He considered that what happened in Zawtar al-Gharbiyya “does not constitute an Israeli withdrawal,” criticizing its presentation as an achievement, and saying that “any withdrawal of the enemy from any occupied spot is something we support.” He added that the framework agreement “did not lead to an Israeli withdrawal from any occupied area,” accusing the Lebanese authority of “linking the Israeli withdrawal to the issue of disarming the resistance.” Fadlallah also accused the authority of "pushing the country towards internal tensions," stressing that Hezbollah "is avoiding any internal confrontation out of concern for civil peace." He concluded by saying that "any final regional agreement will not be possible without the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from Lebanese territory," stressing "reliance on the will of the people and the steadfastness of the resistance."
