The House of Representatives approved the law aimed at reinstating members and officers who had previously been dismissed from the customs police. After MP Firas Hamdan objected to the speedy passage of the law due to the financial burdens it placed on the state, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nabih Berri responded: “Oh my love, my eyes... I can bear with you a lot, that’s it.” Hamdan replied: “You have a big heart for me.”
