The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc held its periodic meeting on 28/05/2026, discussed current developments, and issued the following statement: Our people are still being subjected to a criminal Zionist aggression that is concentrated in the south and hits areas in the Bekaa and on the outskirts of the Dahiyeh, as happened today in the Shoueifat area. Through this, the enemy is trying to deepen its criminal methods and expand the circle of aggression to subdue our country and impose surrender upon it. The escalation of the aggression comes as the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular celebrate their religious and national occasions. In this context, the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc extends its blessings and congratulations to the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular, foremost among them the families of the sacrificing martyrs and our patient people, both the displaced and the steadfast, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha and Resistance and Liberation Day. Eid al-Adha comes this year to the beat of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon and Palestine, where the true meanings of sacrifice for the sake of God are embodied, and the highest meaning of this holiday is in responding to the divine mandate even if it requires sacrificing sons. This is the condition of our people today, who offer martyrs with satisfaction and submission to the divine command that calls for confronting the oppressors and triumphing for the oppressed. There is no one on the face of the earth who is more unjust, arrogant, tyrannical, and oppressive than the US administration and the occupying Zionist entity. On the twenty-sixth anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day, we recall those glorious days in the history of Lebanon that will remain engraved in the conscience of our people and nation because of the historical achievements made by the resistance with all its factions, crowned by the master of the nation's martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, with his wise and courageous leadership that achieved this liberation thanks to the sacrifices of the resistance fighters, the embrace of their people, and the unity of the resistance environment, especially between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement. This anniversary passes while our land in the south is being subjected to a barbaric Zionist aggression targeting all forms of civil life in order to achieve the historical Zionist dream of occupying the south, snatching it from the homeland, and snatching its people from it, which is revealed by the statements of many officials of the occupying entity. Meanwhile, the will of our people, which liberated in the year 2000, stands today as an impenetrable barrier against this new Zionist attempt, and the sons of the generation that launched the Islamic resistance in 1982 are continuing this path in order to liberate the land and defend the homeland. On this occasion, we commemorate the martyrs who passed away and the great leaders, from Sheikh Ragheb Harb and Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi to Hajj Imad Mughniyeh and the historical leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with his companion on the path Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the official of the southern region at the time of liberation Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, along with the leader martyrs and all who have passed on this path. At this historical juncture that we are facing in Lebanon and the region, the bloc notes the following: 1- As the Zionist aggression against our country continues, deliberately committing massacres against civilians, bulldozing villages, and displacing residents within the framework of war crimes it commits in full view of the world without any condemnation or action from it, our people adhere to the option of steadfastness and repelling the aggression through their heroic resistance, to achieve the legitimate goals of our sacrificing people for their pride, dignity, and not returning to the pre-March 2 stage. The resistance's qualitative operations and continuous strikes with drones and various types of weapons have become a real dilemma for the enemy that it will not be able to get out of as long as it occupies an inch of our land. Our people will not abandon their legitimate right to self-defense until the land is liberated and the displaced return. 2- The authority insists on continuing its path of concessions and squandering sovereignty and rights under the pretext of being forced to continue its direct negotiations with the enemy. In this context comes its plunging of Lebanon into military negotiations through which the Israeli enemy tries to impose security coordination for the benefit of its aggression against our country. As we reiterate our rejection of this path in all its details, we call on the authority once again to abandon it, return to the bosom of its people, and stop denying them and national partnership, and stop submitting to what is dictated to it by the US administration, because this will only bring this authority disappointment and loss. 3- The bloc salutes the honorable stance of the Islamic Republic, which insists on making the cessation of aggression against Lebanon part of its agreement with the United States of America. This constitutes an opportunity for Lebanon to place itself among the greats and obtain international guarantees to achieve its demands for stopping the aggression, the withdrawal of the enemy, the return of the displaced, and the release of prisoners. Instead of the Lebanese authority rushing to seize this opportunity, it tries to undermine it and works to obstruct it, even at the expense of its people's blood. This authority is called upon to step away from narrow calculations and erroneous and irresponsible bets.
