Axios quoted an American official as saying, “The agreement allows Israel to take action in Lebanon if Hezbollah tries to rearm itself.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed to US President Donald Trump his concern about the condition for ending the war against “the party.”
He pointed out that the draft memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran stipulates ending the war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Fars Agency also reported that the text of the potential agreement stipulates that Iran and its allies commit to not attacking the United States and its allies.
