Hezbollah denied the false and fabricated allegations issued by the Syrian Ministry of Interior about its association with a cell that was working to carry out the assassination of a religious figure, and reaffirms the stated position that it has no activity, association, or relationship with any party in Syria, and has no presence on Syrian territory.
The "party" affirmed its concern for the security, stability, and safety of its people with all its components, and calls on the relevant authorities in the Syrian state to carefully investigate before launching haphazard accusations, especially in light of the presence of intelligence agencies seeking to ignite tension between Lebanon and Syria.
