The Board of Directors of the Electricité du Liban announced that it decided, in its session held this evening, to cut off the electricity supply to public administrations, institutions, and independent departments, including water departments, which have failed to pay their dues to the Electricité du Liban despite repeated warnings addressed to it, with the exception of government hospitals, as of Monday morning, November 2, 2026.
The Board of Directors called on the concerned authorities to pay their due dues before the aforementioned date, in order to avoid cutting off their supply.
He said: “This statement is considered a letter notifying all parties concerned with this procedure.”
