US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the Houthis, who control large areas of Yemen, are “behaving very badly.”
Trump pointed out that the Houthis remained silent for a long time, but they reappeared again, likely at the behest of Iran.
The US President explained that he had contacted the Saudi Crown Prince, indicating that he would take action regarding Iran.
Trump indicated that he might ask Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to intervene and support Saudi interests.
He continued: "I believe that President Erdogan will fulfill my request."
