Saudi sources reported on Tuesday that the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen launched air strikes targeting warehouses belonging to the Houthis in the Ras Issa area of Hodeidah Governorate.
In this context, Yemeni sources reported air strikes on the capital, Sanaa, while Houthi media reported that Saudi raids targeted the oil company site in the Sabahah region, west of the Yemeni capital.
For his part, the military spokesman for the Houthis confirmed that the oil company's station in Sabahah is free of oil derivatives.
The Joint Forces Command of the coalition had called on civilians to evacuate the Yemeni Oil Company site, known as the “Al-Sabahah Central Station” in Sana’a, to preserve their safety, in preparation for carrying out an operation it described as “qualitative.”
The spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, explained that the evacuation request includes the location specified in the explanatory map attached to the statement that he published through his account on the “X” platform.
