Aoun left for Paris

President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun left Beirut International Airport this afternoon heading to Paris in response to an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron, to discuss the general situation in Lebanon and the region and bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Aoun will participate tomorrow, Thursday, with President Macron and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, in the opening of the preparatory meeting for the international conference to support the army and the Internal Security Forces, which will be held at the Les Invalides palace.
