The residents of Haret Hreik in the southern suburb of Beirut experienced tense hours at night after one of the residents received a suspicious call claiming to be from the Israeli army, demanding that the residents of a building evacuate immediately. This call sparked a state of panic among the neighborhood's residents, and intensive gunfire into the air took place to wake up those who were sleeping, believing it to be a serious evacuation threat, before it turned out to be "just a prank" and that there was no Israeli warning for any area in the southern suburb. This incident comes a week after the renewal of Israeli warnings for Lebanese areas, most notably the town of Arabsalim in the Nabatieh district.
