Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, called the committees on Finance and Budget, Administration and Justice, Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs, National Education, Higher Education and Culture, Agriculture, Environment, and Information Technology, to a joint session at eleven in the morning on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to study the following agenda: - Proposing a regular law aimed at establishing a mandatory union for visual professions specialists in Lebanon. - The draft law contained in Decree No. 6092 dated 1/16/2020, which aims to establish a mandatory professional union for licensed chemists in Lebanon. - The draft law contained in Decree No. 1286 dated 9/19/2025, aiming to establish the Ministry of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Lebanon. - The draft law contained in Decree No. 2687 dated 3/19/2026 aimed at requesting approval of the Forests and Pastures Law. - Proposing a law aimed at strengthening welfare policies related to maternity and paternity benefits, breastfeeding, childcare services and social security.
