Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned in the strongest terms the attacks to which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was subjected, which targeted civilian and economic facilities and resulted in the injury of dozens, including women and children.
Salam affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with the Kingdom, leadership and people, pointing out that Lebanon stands by Saudi Arabia in the face of any attack targeting its security, sovereignty and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, stressing the Kingdom's right to take necessary measures to defend its land and people and protect its security and sovereignty.
He stressed that targeting civilians and economic and vital facilities not only threatens the security and stability of the Kingdom, but would also destabilize the entire region.
