President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted several Saudi cities today, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, which affected civilian and economic facilities and resulted in the injury of a number of civilians, including women and children. He said: "We in Lebanon are following with deep concern this dangerous escalation targeting the security and stability of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we strongly denounce this aggressive act, which constitutes a blatant violation of a sister state's sovereignty and a direct threat to the safety of its citizens and residents." The President of the Republic affirmed "Lebanon's full solidarity, president and people, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people, in the face of this sinful assault," stressing that "the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Lebanon and the entire Arab region, and that any targeting of its sovereignty requires unanimous Arab and international condemnation." President Aoun concluded by saying: "We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the injured, wishing a speedy recovery to all the wounded, and reiterating Lebanon's standing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all that preserves its security, stability, and sovereignty."
