Secretary-General of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezai, affirmed on Friday that Beirut and the southern suburb are a "red line," stressing that Israel can no longer attack them.
Regarding the understanding with Washington, Rezai reiterated that ending the war in Lebanon and Israel's withdrawal from the territories it occupied constitute a condition for the agreement with Washington.
Rezai pointed to the agreement with the Sultanate of Oman regarding a shipping lane crossing Omani and Iranian waters.
