President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Army Commander Rudolph Haikal at the Baabda Palace today, Friday. The security situation in the country in general and in the South in particular was discussed during the meeting, in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks on southern villages and towns. Haikal also briefed Aoun on the results of his visit to Italy and the talks he held with Italian officials.
