President Joseph Aoun congratulated the Lebanese in general and Muslims in particular on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, considering that this occasion comes this year amid major challenges facing Lebanon from repeated Israeli attacks on its sovereignty, land, and people, especially in the south, alongside the economic and living crises that weigh heavily on its citizens. Aoun pointed out that this anniversary recalls the values upon which it was established, namely fraternity, tolerance, and coexistence, which have always formed the basis of Lebanese national accord and shared living in Lebanon, calling on the Lebanese to draw inspiration from the meanings of patience, steadfastness, and unity in confronting aggression and in the journey of rebuilding a strong, just state that protects all its citizens without discrimination. In conclusion, Aoun wished that the occasion would bring goodness to Lebanon, and that national unity would remain "our strongest shield" in the face of all circumstances.
