US President Donald Trump confirmed that Washington deals with the Sultanate of Oman in the same way as it deals with any other party.
Trump said that Iran wants to reach an agreement and we are there for one reason, which is to prevent them from possessing a nuclear weapon, stressing that Iran cannot and will never possess a nuclear weapon.
He added, “We will end the agreement with Iran, and I seek to extend the memorandum of understanding with it,” pointing out that “Iran is not in the process of concluding the agreement that I believe is necessary.”
He believed that "it will take a long time for Iran to develop a nuclear weapon after the strikes we carried out last summer on its nuclear facilities."
Trump confirmed that the United States controls the Strait of Hormuz through a naval blockade, explaining that Iran can plant some mines in Hormuz, but the blockade is effective, and pointed out that the Strait of Hormuz is still open and oil prices continue to fall.
He considered that Iran is in great trouble, is in a state of chaos, and its army is completely defeated.
