A senior Iranian official threatened the United States with a “timely and precise” military attack to break the US naval blockade, if Washington did not adhere to the “deadline” and diplomatic efforts failed.
The official indicated, in an interview with Reuters, that his country would escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and the region as a whole, stressing that Iran would launch an attack if the United States failed to implement the memorandum of understanding within weeks.
The Iranian official added: “We will not wait for America to continue the naval blockade indefinitely
