The head of the Lebanese Press Syndicate, Joseph Al-Qasifi, called on all journalists and editors to come at eleven o’clock in the morning to the headquarters of the Press Syndicate, to participate in a joint press conference between the Press Syndicate and editors. The conference comes within the framework of rejecting the law and approving a joint plan of action to confront it, in defense of the freedom of the media and media professionals, and to preserve the unity of the media body. Al-Qasifi stressed the importance of the participation of all journalists and editors in this movement, which reflects a unified position in the face of what threatens the freedom of journalistic and media work.
