Representative Nada Al-Bustani wrote on “X”: “August 7, 2001 was not a security day... It was a day in which they tried to break Lebanon’s dignity and silence every free voice. They arrested young people, beat people, and muzzled freedoms, but they could not arrest a nation or bury its memory. What is worse is that some of them are now lying to us in the same way, as if the truth dies with time... but the truth does not die.”
