Loyalty to the Resistance bloc member MP Hassan Fadlallah stated that the Israeli army is carrying out acts of destruction and bulldozing in border villages and towns, considering that these practices aim to end the foundations of life in them, while criticizing what he described as the silence of the Lebanese authority and its failure to act to stop them. He added that Lebanon did not raise the cessation of destruction acts in border villages as one of its demands in the negotiations, considering that the authority has not presented so far an option that achieves the minimum national objectives. Fadlallah pointed out that the party participates in the government out of national considerations, stressing that the government is not a one-party government, and that the party opposes inside the institutions when it sees it necessary. Fadlallah stressed that the party sees in the resistance the available option to confront Israel, affirming that any other option that guarantees the protection of Lebanon and its sovereignty will be open to discussion, but he considered that this option is not currently available. He affirmed that what the party wants is the protection of Lebanese sovereignty, the return of the people of the South, reconstruction, and the prevention of Israeli violations, calling for a partnership within state institutions in accordance with the constitution and the law. Fadlallah concluded by affirming that the party's opposition to the authority continues politically, in the media, and popularly, while emphasizing the preservation of civil peace, and rejecting what he described as attempts to drag Lebanon into an internal clash. MP Fadlallah said before the Zionist danger we have no other options to defend our country and protect our existence in Lebanon, except the option of the resistance, and that it be capable, strong, ready, and present, and that we offer sacrifices, and that our youth go to fight in order to defend this existence, even if we had other options we would have resorted to them, and the proof of that is that after the past ceasefire we remained 15 months committed to the agreement and many people including our opponents, our friends, and our people as well were wondering why we do not respond at a time when the enemy is killing our people, but we wanted to avoid war, and we were looking for other options, and we resorted to the state, and told it you must perform your duties, meaning that we have no objection to handing over this matter to the state if it performs its duties and responsibilities, and is able to liberate and protect the land, and we agree with it on a strategy they call national security or a national defense strategy based on how to protect the country for the coming years, but this option did not succeed, and regardless of the individuals present in the authority, if we were offered an option other than the option of confrontation and resisting the enemy, and in which we achieve the required objectives, we would go to this option, but this does not exist. MP Fadlallah stressed that all what we demand in Lebanon is the protection of our sovereignty and land and preventing the enemy from achieving its ambitions, and that our people live in security and stability, and as for the internal level, all what we want is a partnership within state institutions, and even if they tell us rule all of Lebanon in its entirety, we do not accept, but rather we want to be partners within state institutions according to our size and representation and according to the rules of the pact and the constitution, meaning that whoever wants to ask what Hezbollah wants, we tell him that what the national dualism in Lebanon wants is for the South to be liberated and protected, and for its people to return to it, and for it to be rebuilt, and for prisoners to be released, and for Israel not to violate our national sovereignty neither in the air nor on land nor at sea, and for the factors of strength of the army, the resistance, and the people to integrate in order to provide a protection umbrella for Lebanon, and on the internal level also, we want a state that rules by law, and gives people their rights, meaning that the state performs its duties, and fulfills what it owes of rights, so this is what we want in Lebanon, but unfortunately this does not exist at the level of the authority, neither in the past nor until now. MP Fadlallah affirmed that this resistance is present, remaining, and ongoing, and it is what constitutes today the preventive barrier before the Israeli enemy so that it does not settle in our land or so that it does not achieve its historical project by annexing southern Lebanon, especially south of the Litani and settling in it, and as for the political level, our opposition stance is not just a verbal stance, and we have informed all concerned parties that this ominous agreement cannot be implemented, because it gives the enemy what it failed to achieve in the field, and we will not allow this enemy to achieve in politics what it failed to achieve in the field, and the Lebanese army is deploying among its people and in the southern villages, and it has no problem with the people, and there will be no problem between us and the Lebanese army, because its problem is with the Israeli enemy, noting that in Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh the enemy fired bullets to prevent the army from entering some neighborhoods or some outskirts, and similarly prevents the people, and therefore the army's problem and the country's problem is with the Israeli enemy, and our problem with this authority is that it wanted to transfer the conflict between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, to become a conflict between the Lebanese, and to present the resistance as if it is the problem, and if the authority had gone to correct options, we would not have had any problem with it, and we dialogued with it, sat with it, and discussed with it, but it is subject to dictates and committed to options that it cannot pursue in Lebanon. MP Fadlallah affirmed that our opposition to the authority remains and continues in different political, media, and popular facets, and at the same time we say to all our people and loved ones, we are keen on our country, for this country is our country, and those who push Lebanon into an internal clash, will put their homeland in a travel bag and travel and leave the Lebanese people with their problems if this clash occurs God forbid, and therefore, we will preserve this country and defend it, and these martyrs were martyred for their country, land, people, and the dignity of our homeland, and this does not mean at all that we will allow this authority to pass its decisions, or to implement its procedures outside the framework of the constitution, law, and pact, and at a time when Hezbollah is keen on civil peace and on the country, it will not accept by any means whatsoever to touch its resistance, the rights of its people, and its national partnership, and we have enough internal factors of strength to defend our rights by all possible and available methods and means, and we will not allow those who want to plunge the country into the abyss of strife and divisions, to achieve Israel's project in Lebanon.
