Iran condemned the attack that targeted Sanaa Airport after the recognized Yemeni government announced that it had targeted its runway to prevent an Iranian plane from landing.
The official Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei as saying that the attack constitutes a “flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as an attack on Yemen’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
