Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah affirmed that "the American attacks on Iran are a blatant attempt to distract from the unprecedented scene in history that the world saw during the funeral of Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, whether in Iran, in Iraq, or in the popular gatherings in Lebanon, which dealt the United States and the Zionist entity a real shock expressed by the US President, after he delusionaly thought his war on Iran would bring down the regime. The millions-strong attendance at the funeral is not just an emotional presence, but a historical message from millions of Iranians and Iraqians and from our people in Lebanon, affirming that we are clinging to our constants and our cause, and that the aggression which sought to overthrow the Islamic Republic's regime, thanks to these precious blood, has renewed the youth of this state. Furthermore, the aggression against us that sought to crush the resistance, destroy it, and strike its environment—despite the scale of the costs and the great sacrifices we have paid—has only made us more steadfast and clinging to our legitimate rights in defending our country and ourselves." MP Fadlallah said during the memorial ceremony held by Hezbollah for the martyrs of the town of Markaba at the Sayyed al-Awsiya Complex in Burj al-Barajneh: "We are working in Lebanon on three fronts: first, the field front, where our youth are steadfast, firm, and continuing on the front defense lines of our villages, towns, and the South. This resistance remains, and we will safeguard the blood of its martyrs; it is a trust in our necks. After all these sacrifices, the leadership of the resistance has decided to cling to this legitimate right, and it will not abandon it no matter the costs and sacrifices. As for the second front, it is the front of our steadfast and resilient people despite the great sacrifices they offer of their children's blood and properties, as they reject surrender or abandoning their land, and we see them constantly present in the arena and ready to defend their national rights. Despite the displacement and the hardships they face, they will not accept submission to the logic of this authority and its project that consecrates their remaining displaced and their villages destroyed. On the humanitarian and social level, Hezbollah works night and day to alleviate the pain of our people, and it will not hesitate in taking any step it can, sparing no effort for the sake of our steadfast people." He continued: "The third front is the support and backing front from Iran, as Iran imposed the cessation of aggression on Lebanon as a prelude to the Israeli withdrawal in the first clause of the memorandum of understanding with the United States. Thanks to it, the ceasefire was achieved despite multiple Israeli violations, because the enemy wants to shirk this Iranian-American agreement, to the extent that Netanyahu said his agreement with the authority in Lebanon led to removing this file from the Iranian-American negotiations and from the Iranian pressure on Washington to force Israel to withdraw—meaning he is referring to the gift presented to him by the authority. However, this enemy was reined in by Iran on the ground, so any expansion or escalation of the war against Lebanon will lead to a field development at the regional level." He added: "Iranian support has two tracks: the first track is field-based, as we have complete confidence in the Islamic Republic. As for the political track, the message conveyed by the Islamic Republic to Hezbollah, to Speaker Nabih Berri, and to the Lebanese government states that Iran will not enter into negotiations regarding the final agreement unless Israeli hostile actions against Lebanon completely cease, and that Iran will not accept any final agreement with the United States unless Israel completely withdraws from southern Lebanon. In its practical performance, it is carrying out this mission; there are no direct negotiations now, and if the United States wants an agreement—and it is striving for it—no result can be reached unless the enemy withdraws from Lebanon. This is one of our points of strength in Lebanon." MP Fadlallah pointed out that "the authority in Lebanon was herded to Washington and signed an agreement written by the Zionist entity, in which we did not find a single clause in Lebanon's interest. Instead, it consecrates the occupation, squanders the country's sovereignty, places it under American-Israeli tutelage, and prevents it even from prosecuting the enemy in international courts. Indeed, the shedding of Lebanese blood, destruction, sabotage, and crimes against humanity have come to be called military actions by officials in the authority. These descriptions are among the requirements of the agreement with the enemy, as it was the shortest path for the enemy to have the authority legitimize its occupation and its crimes against our people. Rather, this authority sold the South to the Zionist entity and presented it as a gift to Netanyahu, and it wants to experiment on us. But we are not a field for experiments, we are not a people for sale, and our land is not for Zionist settlement, nor will it be a base or a corridor for any settlement or any deals signed by this authority. The history of most authorities in Lebanon is a history of abandoning the South, but those who sold it in the past have departed, and the South and its people have remained clinging to their land. This authority's concern is its own private interests, and it will eventually depart, while the people remain—they are the ones paying the heavy price. However, we will not accept paying the price once again, and we will defend our land and will not allow an authority that has lost the trust of the majority of our people to decide our fate and future." He said: "The solution lies in them becoming convinced that they are incapable of imposing a unilateral agreement, and in the necessity of retreating from it, returning to national understandings, cooperation among the main forces in Lebanon, commitment to the requirements of the constitution and the National Pact document, enforcing laws, relying on the unity of our position in the resistance's environment, relying on our people, the strength of our resistance, and this regional umbrella forming in the region. They must tell the US administration that there is no scope or possibility of implementing such concessions, and that the Lebanese people refuse, will not accept, and you will not be able to impose these concessions on our people. The alternative option is to return to the people and the masses, especially since the majority of Lebanese today reject this agreement which contains no word of withdrawal, but rather redeployment—meaning moving from this position to that one. Through this signature, the enemy has reached the point of saying there are villages that want to join their entity." He affirmed that "the opposition today is an opposition outside sectarian alignment, and it is not true that only the National Duo rejects this agreement, or that we reject it for external accounts. Rather, those who reject the agreement are spread across the expanse of the homeland, and this authority found no one to cover for it, so it sought the help of the May 17 faction whose stance is well known." MP Fadlallah concluded by saying: "Our treacherous enemy is gone and we will remain vigilant, and we are not war enthusiasts. If we had a state, our youth would not have been forced to take up arms to defend their villages. These martyrs from the town of Markaba are the sons of the land, and they sacrificed for their country and people and did not resist for the sake of others as claimed by this authority, which abandoned its duties during the past phase and decided to cede Lebanon's rights and sovereignty in the interest of the occupier."
