Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah stated that our destiny as a society and community is to remain revolutionaries and resisters to occupation and injustice, for this is our history full of sacrifices in order to live with pride, dignity, and freedom, and we were forced to take up arms in defense of our existence and to liberate our land, because we did not have a state that assumed its responsibilities or performed its duties, but rather was sometimes on the side of the occupation as happened in 1982, and today we do not have a state in the true sense that reassures its people and protects them, but rather there are individuals in power who prioritized their foreign loyalties over the interests of their people, and signed a surrender document that overrode the concept of a sovereign national state, for the authority had no problem selling the South and its people and acquitting the occupation of the crimes it committed and will commit in the future, and it is an authority that undermined the foundations of the state when it disavowed the constitution and the national pact and violated laws, practicing political hypocrisy, lying, and falsifying facts and minutes, and thinking that with American support it can strike national balances and marginalize an entire sect to tamper with the fate of the South and present it as a free gift to "Netanyahu", granting him legitimacy to shed our blood and occupy our land, and promising him our disarmament, and this is like Iblis dreaming of paradise, because these people possess nothing but rubber-stamping what was dictated to them by the enemy, and had "Netanyahu" wanted to write this agreement, he would not have written it in a better formula than the one drafted by those in power with the American side, and in return this authority received nothing but Israeli praise and the applause of normalizers. MP Fadlallah considered that facing the crimes against the nation committed by the authority, it is confirmed today more than any time in the past, that our weapon is what protects us, liberates our land, and defends our existence, and what the authority has embarked upon will be an additional incentive to possess all the means of power, and whoever does not have a weapon will buy it, indeed generations of youth are demanding today to train on weapons to defend the rights of their people and their existence, because as a result of what they see at the hands of the occupation and from the practices of the authority, they have lost hope in the possibility of building a state capable of providing protection for its people. MP Fadlallah saw that what the authority has embarked upon is sedition in order to push the country into chaos and transfer the conflict from being with the enemy to an internal conflict, and this is the ugliest function for a ruling authority, and we will remain the most keen on our country and on our national army, for those in power are nothing more than individuals whose expiration date has come, and they will depart, while the resistance, its weapons, and its men remain to liberate the land and protect the people, stressing that our cause is a national cause concerning the fate of Lebanon as a country, and we want to preserve its diversity, independence, and freedom, and it is true that our people, the South, and our community are the ones paying the price, but we refuse for the cause to turn into a sectarian or denominational cause, rather we will preserve it as a national cause, for the resistance community extends across the expanse of the homeland, and even if we, belonging to the Shia Islamic sect, take pride in being the vanguard of the resistance and the sacrificers, there are sincere people alongside us from other sects, and these are facing pressures and challenges, yet they are clinging to their principle, and refusing to compromise on the cause or be bought with a small price, and if some depart, the sincere ones remain and continue alongside the resistance. MP Fadlallah affirmed that the agreement of humiliation and shame signed by the authority will not see the light and will not be implemented, and our hand will remain on the trigger, and we will complete our path in the resistance in order to achieve our goals, and we will exercise our legitimate right in defending our people and safeguarding the blood of our martyrs, and we possess internal elements of power that make us capable of confronting all conspiracies no matter how cunning they may be, and this desperate and failed attempt whose only goal is to block the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding—in which the Islamic Republic of Iran insisted on making Lebanon's interest, halting the aggression against it, and Israeli withdrawal from it a primary clause—will fail, stressing that highwaymen, whether named "Netanyahu" or the authority in Lebanon, will not be able to stop this path, for any American-Iranian agreement sought by the United States of America has its crossing point in the first clause which is Lebanon, and Iran is committed to Lebanon, and will not sign any agreement that does not guarantee an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, and we now have a regional equation extending from the Strait of Hormuz to the Bab el-Mandeb all the way to Ali al-Tahar and our front-line villages, all of which serve the interest of our country, whereas this failed and losing authority is the one that will exit from this entire path taking shape in the region, while our people are the victorious ones, and the blood of our martyrs is what remains and will blossom, God willing, achievement after achievement, for the future is ours and we do not fear for it, and we are Lebanon, the state, the homeland, the people of the land and the field, and nothing will pass that we do not agree to.
