Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, denounced the "Israeli aggression" against Lebanon. Aboul Gheit described what Israel is doing in Lebanon as "a blatant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and a serious violation of international law and international humanitarian law."
