Basil: Pardoning the oppressed is a duty

The head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, wrote on the “X” platform:
“Our position is clear, and there is no need for meetings to explain it: Forgiving the oppressed is a duty.
Amnesty: for drug dealers and murder is rejected, for stealing depositors’ money is forbidden, for army killers it should not be offered, because we were and will remain supporters of the army and its martyrs.
The president, the Minister of Defense, and the Army Commander are protecting the institution, and we are against impunity.”
