Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem pointed out that the resistance is facing a dangerous phase in the history of our region, the future of our country, and our generations, in which the criminal Zionist enemy is ganging up on us, with the support and management of the unjust American tyrant, backed by the countries of injustice and colonialism and the defeated ones panting after worldly gains tainted with the blood of genocide and the killing of childhood and life. He stated that for the resistance, its people, and its supporters—despite their limited numbers and equipment—to stand in the face of the might of human monsters, to offer martyrs in the most splendid and magnificent form, to prevent the enemy from achieving its objectives, and to stand steadfast and continue... steadfastness is what leads to forging the future of our country, our generations, and our region with our allies, as a future of pride, dignity, and independence. Qassem emphasized that the aggression aims to usurp rights, occupy land, and seize the future by force, while the resistance aims to liberate the land and achieve the justice of rights. With the resistance, the enemy is incapable of achieving its goals no matter how arrogant and tyrannical it becomes. He added: There is no ceasefire in Lebanon, but rather an ongoing Israeli-American aggression. There are no sufficient words to condemn the targeting of civilians, villages, towns, destruction, and the killing of children, women, men, and the elderly. We endure and resist, and God Almighty is with us. Qassem stressed that Lebanon is the party that was attacked, and it is the one that needs guarantees for its security and sovereignty. As for the Israeli enemy's claim that it wants security for its settlements in northern occupied Palestine, it has obtained that by Lebanon strictly implementing the 27/11/2024 agreement for fifteen months. However, the Israeli enemy did not implement a single step of the agreement, violated it more than ten thousand times, killed five hundred civilians, wounded hundreds, destroyed thousands of homes and lives, and displaced people from their villages... all because it did not achieve any step on the path of Greater Israel, and it will not achieve them even if all the monsters of the earth and human criminals gathered with it. He continued: The army deployed south of the Litani River in implementation of the agreement, and some are asking: Where did the resistance fighters and weapons come from? The resistance has chosen methods consistent with the phase and benefited from lessons learned, and everyone has seen the resistance's mastery of its performance and its surprises in the field. There is no need to stay fixed in geography; the resistance fighters come from many places in Lebanon and secure their appropriate weapons, operating in a hit-and-run style to inflict the largest possible number of losses on enemy soldiers and officers, and to prevent it from establishing a foothold in the land it has occupied. There is no yellow line and no buffer zone, nor will there be. With our faith and exclusive choice to reclaim our land, liberate it, and not surrender, we will inevitably succeed in confronting it, especially when we draw upon two strengths: the strength of the resistance and the strength of internal unity. The resistance and its people are delivering a legendary performance that has astonished friend and foe alike; do not stab it in the back. We do not call upon you to adopt its convictions, but we call upon you not to serve the trench of the enemies in this sensitive phase. As for the authorities, their duty is to be keen on national unity, achieve sovereignty, order the army to defend the country, provide protection for all citizens, and address economic and social problems... Let them highlight to the citizens their achievements, what they have implemented of the Taif Agreement without selectivity and erroneous interpretation, and that they are committed to the constitution and coexistence so that their representation is correct and their performance acceptable. Despite their weakness and inability, let them draw up plans and programs on the basis of building the state and its sovereignty, and we are ready, as we have always been, as a support and helper within the framework of unity and independence. Is there any country in the world whose authority agrees with the enemy to confront the country's resistance to occupation? There is none... Come, let us confront the enemy's objectives and the liberation of the land with our internal unity, so that we may succeed together in expelling the enemy and enabling the authority to perform its duties. Qassem pointed out that there are four influencing factors helping us get through this phase: the continuation of the resistance – internal understanding – benefiting from the Iranian-American agreement – and benefiting from any international or regional move that pressures the enemy. He said: Let the world bear in mind that the solution will not be surrender. The solution with the enemy is not by engineering Lebanon politically and militarily as a weak country under tutelage. Nor is it through diplomacy shackled by the continuation of the aggression, the pressure of tyranny, and the non-implementation of agreements. He emphasized: We are with diplomacy that leads to stopping the aggression and implementing the agreement. With the diplomacy of indirect negotiations that yielded results in the maritime agreement and the ceasefire agreement, and preserved Lebanon's capabilities which are its rightful due. As for direct negotiations, they are a gratuitous concession without fruits, and they are a service to Netanyahu, who wants to paint a picture of victory in image and stance while the aggression continues, and a service to Trump before the mid-term elections.
