The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Representative Taymour Jumblatt, considered that the incitement, clashes and insults witnessed by some media discourse and social networking sites are condemnable and expose the country to additional, disturbing and unbearable risks. He added through his account on the “X” platform: The dangerous stage that Lebanon is going through requires the media to assume its national responsibilities in this fateful circumstance, and to adhere to the ethics of expressing opinion and presenting ideas without insult or betrayal, and everyone must adopt a responsible media and political discourse in order to preserve national unity and prevent strife.
